May 20, 2025 – Winnipeg, MB – In recognition of Clinical Trials Day, Research Manitoba is proud to announce the roll-out of two major milestones in the RITHIM program which will strengthen and streamline clinical and health research in Manitoba: the Harmony system and the newly redesigned RITHIM website, both going live on June 2, 2025

Introducing Harmony: A New Era of Research Integration.

The new Harmony system is more than just a technology platform—it is a symbol of unity, synchronization, and collaboration. The name and visual identity reflect the system’s core purpose: bringing together researchers, post-secondary institutions, healthcare institutions, and review committees into a cohesive, connected workflow. By aligning processes, improving communication, and simplifying access, Harmony will create a more efficient and transparent health research environment across the province.

This modern platform will serve as the central system for submitting and managing ethics, privacy and health institutional approvals, offering a seamless experience for Manitoba’s research community. Whether you’re launching a new clinical trial or coordinating population-based health research, Harmony will help facilitate collaboration and ensure compliance every step of the way.

Opening June 2nd: New Website and System Access

On June 2nd, researchers, administrators, and stakeholders will be able to:

  • Visit the new RITHIM website at rithim.ca

  • Access the latest RITHIM news, updates, and announcements

  • Explore a comprehensive library of training materials

  • View upcoming training sessions for researcher teams

  • Create Harmony accounts and Personal Profile Forms

The new website will act as the central hub for everything you need to know about RITHIM, offering tools and resources designed to support a smooth transition into the Harmony system.

We invite all health research teams to explore the new website on June 2nd, search for upcoming training sessions, and begin the journey toward a more unified and connected health research experience in Manitoba.
